That's alot of hours there. I know someone that's a car salesman. He makes decent money but puts in alot of hours.

I was a car salesman for a brief period...I personally didn't like it.
Most salesman care about nothing but money, are slimey and cheesy. There a few decent ones, but they are few and far apart.
If you don't sell cars, you go hungry. The hours suck ***. You do alot of standing around, being bored off your ***. Just not the job for me I guess.
Not trying to scare you away, just telling you my personal experience.

My dad is one of the top 10 car salesmen in Michigan and has been voted as "peoples choice" car salesman for local papers. Its not all about standing around, thats just what greenpeas do, sorry to say. You need to be a lot lizard and never stop looking for a new customer when you have free time. NEVER stand around with nothing to do, theres ALWAYS someone on the lot. And yes, you will have to work magic with numbers and deal with creeds ALL the f'n time.. Its all about grosses and the higher the gross, the more you get paid $$$... Whether it means giving them $2000 less than what their car is worth or hiding the money elsewhere in the deal, your job is to gross [img]smile.gif[/img]Mustangs.. Im glad to see that somebody who is going to be selling cars, actually knows somthing about cars.
I went to a dealership to the parts dept. to pick up a winodw stabablizer.(friggen 8 bucks)
I pass by the new GTO and a salesmen stops me. I ask him how much power its putting out. He give me some 300ish number. I was like "is that at the flywheel?" He looked dumbfounded. I hate that.Comment
