it seems too perfect of a cover up if a missle hit the pentagon instead of the 757. Lets be honest, if the jet fired a missile at the small passenger plane and missed and just so happened to hit the pentagon why even cover it up?

My buddy that lives here,was down visiting his mom at the time,Lves like 2 blocks or something from the Pentigon,said that he didnt see no Jet hit ,just an explosion.So I asume that the Pentigon was hit by(what Stefan said,Bunker buster!)

Ok, here's the problem I have with this theory.

So if it was a missile and not a plane, what happened to the 757 with it's passengers?

1) It crashed into the ocean and nobody knows about it.
2) It was actually sucessfully shot down by one of our own fighter pilots before it could crash? Where was it shot down/
3) The plane didn't crash, the hijackers had second thoughts and landed the plane at a secret runway.

So, let's assume that #3 is "true". The plane landed safely and the US is using the hijackers as sources of info on Osama. Well you don't want info like that leaking to the public do you? So, they shoot all the passengers. I mean, you have to. Witness protection doesn't work. Somewhere along the line one of the passengers would leave protection and leak the story.
Ok, so the passengers are killed, the hijackers are prisoner, never to see the light of day.

What to do with the plane? The government quickly cut it up and mixed it in with wreckage from 911?... no, no, too obvious. It's buried out at area 51 with the UFO. 40 years from now we will know the truth, and the plane will be dug up and put on exhibit.

Please, what's next? Elvis, the Bat Boy and Bin Laden are hiding in Hitler's secret bunker?

OK....THE VERY FIRST TO SCENES ARE EVIDENT ENOUGH GUYS! Taken into account that editing COULD have been done to the video, intact windows and undamaged spools on the ground show that no 757 crashed in there. And the comments "try telling that to the families of the lost ones" is as ignorant as they come. I'm sure they would REALLY like to know what happened, and I'm sure that they have thought about something other than a plane cuz I'm sure some of them live in the area. Like Stefan said, you'd have to see it in person. And those who say that this is just some "propaganda" for the upcoming elections; why is this not publicized? Why have I never heard of this movie before? Why hasn't Michael Moore said anything?

So if this theory is true, then how come not one of the thousands of people who travel I-395 daily ever reported anything about a vehicle capable of launching a bunker buster missile at the Pentagon? You can't just load a missile like that into the back of a truck and fire it at buildings while driving on the highway at near 65 MPH. If a vehicle was stopped, at least 100 cars would have driven by it and seen shady terrorists setting it up.

As to the people in the Flash saying it didn't "sound like a plane," what the hell do they know about the sounds missiles and planes make when traveling at 350 miles an hour? Unless you're an expert on ballistics, shut your f*cking mouth and just say "It was a loud wooshing sound" unless you're sure it wasn't a plane. Maybe the Space Shuttle crashed into it, but we'll never know because not many people have heard the sound of the f*cking space shuttle crashing into the Pentagon.

I know the government covers stuff up, but what's the difference if it was a missile or a plane? Either way it came from terrorist planning.

I must agree with most the others here....that was no 757 that hit the Pentagon. If you watch the blast radius of the Twin Tower strikes, and then watch them from the Pentagon, the Pentagon strike looks like nothing.

The planes that flew into the Twin Towers destroyed A FEW STORIES AT ONCE. But oddly enough....at the Pentagon it leaves a freakin hole?

2) No one here is a specialist in damage assesement of a jetliner into a reinforced building, but we all think we know what damage a jetliner should do to a building because we watch CNN a lot, so lets feed the conspiracy theory.

And what missile would it be anyway? Until the advent of the British designed air launched Storm Shadow, bunker busting was, and still is, mostly done by GBU bombs.

The only missiles available to terrorists are of the hand held type. Stingers, and I think SA-7s are the most common. Those things are hand held surface to air missiles. The warheads are just big enough to down an aircraft. And as they are infa red, they need a heat source to lock on to.

Unless a terrorist got his hands on a Tomahawk or its Soviet counterpart, there is no hand held missile to date that can do that kind of damage

But the Towers were not designed to survive that kind of blast. When they were built, the 747 was the biggest plane around. IIRC, they were designed with that in mind. The Pentagon, being a military installation AND a prime target, is better able to withstand a blast like that..

Oh, the Empire State Building was hit by a B-25 in 1944 or somewhere around there. Not much damage to it.

The towers were not brought down by the planes. Rather it was the heat of the fires that weakened the metal skeleton.
