  • INTENSE's lies.... must read

I know a lot of you guys buy INTENSE products along with the Grand Prix community. A thread has surfaced at Club Grand Prix about INTENSE's sub-par products and knowing of a bad priduct. It is a very good read. Chris Green (thread creator from Houston, was a major INTENSE backer). Chris Green from Ohio (excell69), was a former INTENSE partner who resently quit. Biggest Jeff is the former part owner of INTENSE that also resently left. They brought insight that is very shocking to the doing of INTENSE. If some of you are wondering what happened to 3800tech.com it is explained in the thread. Moderater, if im in violation of some rules, i understand, but i thought it was a must read as the L36 Camaro owners also buy INTENSE products and could have issues with their products.

    Here is the thread: http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.as...mode=1&smode=1

I stopped buying from INTENSE long ago.

Edit: Wow, after reading that I'm sorry I ever bought my head gaskets from them.

I made a desision a while ago to work with ZZPerformance and not with Intense. I have been very happy with every purchase from ZZP and Zoomer (he runs ZZP) is great.

I have had no problems with Intense except for there PCm's not working on my car but I sent them back and got my money back.. I bought my diamond forged pistons, valve springs, retainers, pushrods, lifters, oil pressure spring, and all the arp bolts for my motor from them and they ship very fast.. I dont have a problem for the parts but as for there pcm's I tried two stage 2 pcms in my car and neither one of them worked.. But I sent them right back and got all of my money back each time.. Excellent customer service..

i have actually heard that the tips of their lightweight pushrods have been known to break off. The thing is INTENSE doesnt make anything you bought except for the PCM. ARP bolts, comp cam springs, diamond coated pistons, comp cam lifters etc. INTENSE didnt actualy have any say in those products being produced.

I just read the whole thread quickly, but it's kinda interesting. Sucks for them to lose their domain though.

if you're talking about 3800tech.com, there is a temp board in the intense news dept.

I don't agree that they don't have any say.

Supplier Quality is my business. If my suppliers don't cut it, we replace them. Sometimes we put them out of business, if you make **** and can't deliver on time too bad. Their poor quality reflects on us and impacts our ability to supply OUR customers.

Some crazy things have been going on lately. I kinda feel bad for intenses new employees.

My brothers intense gtp pcm is crap, it is cammanding 22 degrees of timing. Its a good thing he has a stock pully on it yet. Scott did offer to fix it but since I am getting a tuner soon, he is just going easy on it until we can edit the values.
