                                Landman - "What is it?"

I work for Oil & Gas companies. I do title reports on ownership of surface and mineral rights, court house working with deeds. I do leasing for the acquistion of oil & gas rights, negotiating with land owners. Also acquistion of right-of-ways, more negotiating with land owners. Also if a situation arises were a landowner is upset over a acton taken by the company I go out and make sure they don't sue, example rock gets blown off side of hill and lands on their car. I go out and offer to pay damages, and do company public relations.

Well it pays anywhere between $200.00 to $450.00 per day depending upon what part of the country your in and your experience. I have 2 years experience, and currently I am getting $225 per day, $25 for food per day, and you don't need to save receipts. I make 40.7 cents per mile that I drive. And all other buisness expenses are paid like hotel stay, copies, etc...

If that sounds like something you'd like to do. The energy buisness is booming right now. There are many companies hiring people who have no experience. email me if you have questions.
