I am going into the military. I have a CFII, but that industry is a joke. Hey 4thgenowner, you are about to throw away like $25K on a worthless education.
I was supposed to get commissioned in january and start my wonderful new life as a fighter pilot in the marines. Unfortunatley, the infinite wisdom of government beauracracy has left me stranded. Due to complications with paperwork, and the fact that O-3's and above only work 2 days a week, I have been severly delayed. My earliest hope of getting commissioned is now june. I am up to my ears in debt, and I about to lose my medical/life/vision/dental/car insurance. I need a ****ing job. Right now.
I am still going to chase the TOPGUN dream, I just have to sink down to the smelly abyss of reality for a few months and try to keep my head above the ever rising tide of bankruptcy and homelessness.

I'm a web programmer. By that, I do not mean to suggest that I build websites using Photoshop and HTML (lots of people get the titles of programmer and designer mixed up when the word "web" is in front of them).
I design, build, and support dynamic web applications. PHP, SQL, C++, COM/DCOM, ASP, ladeda, ladedaaaaaaaaaa.
I sit behind a desk for 9 hours each day, staying awake on cheap office coffee and the harsh glare of my CRT and wondering how long it will be until an embolism dislodges from from my grossly sedentary lower body and forcefully lodges its self in my brain.
I am paid 1101011011011000 dollars per year. I haven't had a raise in three years. Praise be to Allah.
I work for Bank One/JP Morgan Chase as a Licensed Banker. I open and service all types of consumer/business accounts as well as all kinds of loans. I am also fully licensed for investments which is my favorite thing to do in the bank. I like what I do but it is very micromanaged. As long as I do well at it I can live with it.
What\'s her last name? I\'ll look it up.<br />You know I don\'t recall. Swim, Swammy, Slippy, Slappy, Simmons, Sommons, Swenson, Swanson?<br />Maybe it\'s on the briefcase.<br />Oh yeah! It\'s right here, Samsonite! I was way off! I knew it started with an S though!

Do you have to work with customers? I am quitting my current job as a gas station casheir. THere isn't anything I loathe more than the general public. I would rather be poor and destitute than wait on another clueless ****stain of society with money in thier hand.

I know how you feel. I spend 8 hours supporting people through the phone sometimes. It's soooo boring sometimes, and aggrevating other times depending whether or not the person on the other line is a b**ch or not.
Starring at a screen for a certain amount of time can really affect the mind.
I'm the manager/ accountant at the local country club while getting prepared to take the CPA exam. I make $25,000, it's enough to get by, but not near enough for that new engine I want

It's a customer service based job without the title, i work more with the technicians, and i'm the last point of contact for the customer service reps to get sooner service.
i wouldn't reccomend it for someone who hates people ;) i've just learned to laugh at them.
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
