No offense, but I doubt you pull in 400 a week as a full time college student. Unless you have no social life or studying life, I can't see making 400 a week and only getting paid $9.50/hr. That means you would have to work more than 40 hours a week. Sorry for the bash.

criminology major right now... future LEO.
Why are you in a Criminology Major when you should be in Criminal Justice? Im guessing LEO is Law Enforcement Officer. You would need a Criminal Justice Major. You do know the difference, right? If not, Criminal Justice is the study of the system.....Criminology is the study of Crime, and it's existence in our society. Just curious.

Wow... my boyfriend is a machinist who also does CNC programming at his job, I keep telling him he should go for his dream of engineering school or full time CNC machining...in fact, we're really pumped...he just got a deal on a Bridgeport Mill with a Milltronics CNC controller for our home. I want to learn too. We're hoping to make some extra money on the side with it.

I just started working for Blue Cross/Blue Shield in July of 04. I'm in the Provider Services end. So far they've been good to me...although I am already tired of the being on the phone all day part...hoping to maybe move into claims after a year, although the pay is a bit less with no chance to get bonuses every month!

I work as a graphic designer for the Billings Gazette and for a couple of it's other affiliated publications.

I also own and run a web design, web hosting and computer repair business, which is taking off. It's not quite enough to become self employed, but it's close

I'm an assistant store manager at the 4th largest retailer in America. I've taken 1 1/2 years of college (still attending) and it works out well with my schedule. I pulled in about 30K last year and when I go up for promotion in Aug. it will be about 40K-45K. I have full benefits, 401K plan, 3 weeks paid vacation, etc. I love it!
