I am tired of working at a crummy gas station for low wages. I figure that my college degree is worth more than that in the job market.
If you all tell me what you do for a living, and what kind of educational/training background you have, maybe I will get an idea of what I can do.

In my line of business, certifications count more than a degree to be honest. Don't get me wrong, having a degree is a plus in the technology field, but having those certifications are worth a whole lot more.
If you do not have an MCP, MCSA, MCSE, or that fake certification known as the A+, you will not get hired regardless whether you have any degree in the technology field.
There's more certs. available, but there are way too many to mention.
im currently going to Atlantic technical center.. I have A+ and MCP.. but i have been having trouble finding an IT job...

I am in school for the first time in six years for Aviation Maintenence, hoping to get my AMT degree and my A & P licence by Oct. of next year. I have a 7 year plan, ultimately working for UPS in the Worldport in Louisville, KY. Besides school, that I attend 4 days a week from 8 am till 2:45 pm, I also work part time at UPS. If things go right, I will get my transfer to Louisville, and finally start making enough money to where I don't have to worry about paycheck to paycheck BS.
