I've lived in the same appt complex for the past year now. It's been typically nice, low rent, well-maintained area, and quiet for the most part. It's location is a tad 'ghetto' and the only crap I've ran into is weed dealers and busted beer bottles. Well, sometime last month these turd kids moved in one building over. Who, just for a good kick, drives a white Grand Am GT, dual black huge stripes down it, loud nasty dual fart cannon exhaust, HORRIBLE rims, blue underbody neons, but to top it off...a nice big black aluminum APC wing. The thing is they always have big get-togethers that have a nice conglomerate of nasty girls and guys that want to fight constantly. They always make their way into the parking lot causing more sound than a good fireworks display. Being a junior in college I've just about seen and/or experienced it all. My main beef is that they have yelled at most of my friends many of times including my girlfriend which was close to resulting in a rather large brawl of my TCU crew (all husky boys) vs their methed out gang. Sorry to linger on but I just want to set up the story. So tonight I decide I'd love to savor a long nights sleep which I haven't had in FOREVER. I lay down for a bit but awoke to the sound of really loud exhaust. It happens once, twice, six damned times. I roll out of bed red-eyed and a tad angry and make my way to the door. Now I live on the 3rd floor of my appt. Very distant from the lot cement. I walk out to see a 95-96 v6 white Camaro hardtop with some sort of VERY loud exhaust reving around the parking lot. The driver was your typical @sshat with the seat leaned too far back, white polo and a backwards hat a la Durst. I went to the stairwell and laid my head against the railing and just stared in fatigue. I watched the som***** go around time after time. Even the security patrol didn't stop em. I contemplated calling the cops for a noise violation but hesitated because I'm too tolerant for my own sake. Shat on me. Anywho, its now 3:30am and just thought I would share how angered I am. Precious sleep...bubye :( . I'm not one for damaging another mans goods but sweet lord I'd love to see that Camaro with some profanity carved into the side with a large blunt object. Well, that's my rant. Night. Finally.

Man, I would have called the cops. I value my sleep too much. There used to be this guy that had a truck with flowmasters on it who whould come into our parking lot at least once a week. He'd circle it reving his truck trying to find car alarms that go off. I have mine set pretty sensitive so he'd park next to my car and hit the gas. I'd turn off the alarm and he'd do it again over and over until he became bored. SO one day I go out and confront him. He tries to deny when he'd been doing and everything- until I suggest that I call the police for a noisecomplaint (have his plate number stuck to my fridge). He speeds off and I haven't seen/heard from him in a few months now2000 silver A4 Camaro
Whisper lid; Free Ram Air; BMR stb; MSD super conductor wires; Gatorback belt?
1986 RX-7 (daily driver)

Similar thing happened to me when I lived in Baltimore. We found some decent apartments (Decent in Baltimore is hard to find) and the price wasnt too high, so we moved in and everything was pretty good for a while, until we got a bunch of punk kids moving in below us. I think there were three of them total. It never failed, it was constant "club" music pounding away day and night, very very loud. Sometimes loud enough to shake glasses off of our kitchen table. We called the apartment managers probably 10 times over the course of the next 8 months, I guess they sent a letter but of course it didnt do anything. We called the cops on them probably 6 times during that period, only 4 of the times they actually came out. That would stop the music for the night, but the next day, same thing. I know some of the neighbors called the cops/office on them too. Finally we moved out, they were still there blasting their club music. It's complete bs that we should have to put up with that crap, especially when we were paying a lot of money to live there. Oh well, now I live in a peaceful lone apartment in the woods and the only thing I hear at night is crickets.
I'd call the apartment managers and fill them in. Try and get them kicked out- you dont want them causing more serious problems later on.
Good luck.
