Sorry if it's wrong to stick up for yourself when your accused of something you didn't do
i could've cared less what you were driving and how old you are. granted he should have had a tint meter. i write tint tickets all the time, but i use a tint meter to back it up. it may not have been laziness. maybe his department doesn't have any.

so two things, one, you got out of something, good for you. two, lose the whole "they're jealous of my car" attitude. it makes you sound like you're all of 5.

Haha, I love kids who think that because they drive a sports car it's why they get pulled over for driving erratically. Fool, the cop pulled you over for WHAT HE SAW, not what you saw. If I saw you driving like that without seeing the bus driver doing what you supposedly thought was a threat to your "ultra-rad and cool sports car" I would have pulled you over too.

Crap, cops are human too, they have a lot more to watch out for than you do, kid. Chew on that a while.

i have been pulled over before for going 41 in a 35 as i was passing a cop when a lady in a van was going atleast 50. what does that tell you. if he was clocking everyone, he would have clocked her first then me. now who do you think is the right person to pull over. a lady going atleast 50 in a car that would take alot longer to slow down if something pulled out infront or me in a camaro that damn near stops on a dime.

Why does a black man driving a dark tinted hooptie in a crack neighboorhood get pulled over? Blaring music and loud exaust are sure to attract more attention from cops. I usually drive very safe and almost always drive the speed limit. I learned a long time ago that you don't get anywhere faster when you speed. You'll get stuck at a light eventually. I bought my car for looks and style. I didn't buy it to drive fast or I would have gotten a V-8 ;) . I just get mad because I never get a ticket for something I actually did and deserved. Or I would just pay it and shut up. It's your right to take the ticket to court. If you read the bottom, and the officer tells you when you sign, that signing the ticket is not an admission of guilt, It means that you will respond to the charge within 30 days. By paying the ticket, you are effectively admitting guilt and the matter is over. If you elect traffic court, you are exercising your right for the judge to decide whether or not you're guilty. You were going to get the ticket anyway, so why not elect court and you have a 50/50 that the officer doesn't show and its dismissed. If you loose, its only and extra $20-30(in Florida) court fee. To me its a well spent gamble to not have points on your license. The judge sometimes feel sorry for you and reduces the charge or withholds the points or orders traffic school. Or your still guilty. But usually if your ticket was for something that you did by accident or was unintentional, then why not speak up for yourself! I just hate tickets because I don't want to pay higher insurance. If there was not such things as the point system and all you had to do was cough up some money, then I would just pay the fines and admit to stupidity!!!

you never did anything to deserve a ticket?

dude, read what you wrote. im not flaming you or anything, but seriously, you turned into the lot through a red light cause a bus pulled in front of you. you either A) were going to fast to stop in time B) didnt leave enough following distance or C) werent paying attention hard enough while driving.

face it, you blew a red light and cut through a parking lot to get to another road. two offences right there. whether or not the bus cut you off is not the issue. you should have avoided it w/o breaking two traffic laws.

therefore, you DID deserve the ticket.
