sponsorships?

does anyone know how you can get sponsored? like, i've met a few kids passingly who have sponsors for thier ricers and was like damn, i get half of my parts paid for and all i gotta do is go to like 5 shows every year, i could def live with that. anyone know how to get in on that? thanks

Check the link in my sig, I'm working with them now and have been since April '05. They only require you sport the decals(names of companies) and go to at least (((3))) shows a year. People talk bad about them but that's because they don't know what they're talking about. Keep in mind carsponsorships has many companies that they do not list, and they have all kinds of goodies,... also just because they offer you something it doesn't mean that you have to take it. Only get what you like.

Question is how much money did you have to pay them to give you money/parts?

You pay $89 for Carsponsorships to find you companies that will sponsor you or(companies that are interested in sponsoring you, but offer discounts *for now*)

All they want is for you to put the companies' names on your car that are sponsoring you and go to at least 3 shows a year.

Over time they offer you much much more. They'll see how responsible your are and stuff and they'll help you out with more and more. After you've been given discounts for so long maybe a year, it is possible that, that same company will pick you up for a full sponsorship the next year.

The prices for parts vary. They offer all kinds of discounts. Most of them are at least 50% off. Others are more like 70% off. Also they have a policy that says if you find it cheaper some where else, carsponsorships will talk to that company about it and they'll have your price dropped.

When the companies pick you up for a full sponsorship, that means that the products are free. All you've got to do is just go to shows and sport the company names.

sponsorship usually means THEY PAY YOU, or at the very least its free.

Generally people don't go to companys and say sponsor me and get results. Companys are looking to sponsor cars that are already decked out and they can just slap their name on the car. So if you want a real sponsorship you need to spend a metric *** load of money then go on the car show circuit and hope you are noticed.
