Another fun one I found:
Same sort of concept, but you copy and paste the icons in paint (so that the bitmap is covered with icons). Set it as his background and randomly move his icons over one of the pictures. This way he has to click every icon to find the working shortcuts.

switch his keyboard and mouse plugs. or if you could get his IP adress, you could use this thing i found called "netdevil". google it. i tried it on some of my friends, you can do funny stuff like turn their monitor upside-down, randomly execute and stop programs, and ALOT of other funny crap. also:

Ok when he is gone get the powder tide, lift his bottom sheet off and sprinkle all over, make a decent coating. Put sheet back on, cant tell that eny is done make sure it is not too much so that is noticable. Everyone sweats while they sleep. When they do the tide seeps into the sheet on onto him, he will itch like crazy and take a shower only to get back to bed wet...hahahah makes it worse, it will take a few times till he gets the hint. We did that to get this one guy who never showered, I mean like aw eek or so between showers, stunk to all hell. Nothing harmfull will happen just itch like crazy. And ton of showers throughout the night.

Someone did this to me lastnight. I was scared as hell. I was at my friends house and we were just leaving. I went outside to get in my car and unlocked it, then my friend called me back inside for something. A few other guys were hanging outside and I was longer than I thought. So one of them got in and stuck it in neutral and took off the parking brake. They pushed it across the street and it was dark, so I couldn't see it. When I came outside I was all mad and everything. I want to get back at them but I know if I do it will just get worse until they end up damaging my car. GRR

My friend's Re-arranged the keyboard, but they were dumb enough to leave "F" and "J" where they were. 2 weeks later, they were like "you never fixed your keyboard yet?" I didnt notice it was broken. If your roomate can type, missing keys will not bother him at all most likely.

these are good ideas. We have to shut down everything before we leave. I've already done the print scrn thing, and shut down his comp. then when he leave for class I'll unplug his hdd. it'll be a 2 for 1.

Does he like Orange Juice? If he does, then put some Bacardi 151 in his orange juice. Not a lot, but the orange juice will hide the taste. He'll be getting a big buzz everytime before breakfast. Then, you can do whatever you want to him!

a horrible one would be to put dog poo in a grocery bag, and strap it to his engine block of his car. Once the car heats up and melts the bag to the engine and start to burn whats inside. Smell will come through the air vents and from the outside in. No way around not smelling it.

However, risk of fire, risk of being shot if he finds out it was you, the smell will not go away until it burns off. he'll prolly throw baloney all over ur car.

it might be a little too much though, it will prolly escalate things a lot. I always thought it would be funny though. :\

Ok I have done this one a few times, its pretty funny. You take the hose that refills the toilet bowl after you flush and have it slightly sticking out the top of the toilet so after the guy takes a piss and flushes the toilet it will spray him and its a lot of freaking water. Enough to fill the tank of the toilet so its pretty funny. It creates a huge mess though so since you live in the dorms I assume you would have to share a bathroom and possibly have to deal with the clean up so it may be something that you wouldnt want to do but its pretty funny. Also make sure that the hose is just barely sticking out of the top of the toilet so its inconspicuous.
