dont own a gun yet but plan to someday get some kind of pistol and some kind of bolt action scoped rifle, then go hunting Jimbo from South Park style-shout "its coming right for us" then blow the **** out of it :D jk

but maybe go to the firing range

Can't see the photo because it's blocked here at work. Which model did you get? Glocks are pretty nice because they're dead-on reliable and pretty dang accurate.

My buddy had the full-sized .45 (forget the exact model #) and I punched a nice group with a full magazine at 25yds. I was quite surprised by the big, ragged hole that came back to the line.

Eventually I'll get one of the .45GAP models they've got out there, but it'll be after I get my 1911 finished, my shotgun purchased and a nice bolt action rifle. Been thinking about a Savage Arms rifle...

Looks awesome! I'm not a gun person, so I know nothing about it really.

What exactly did you get it for? Home protection or do you just enjoy blastin' stuff up!

Both actually. It's really fun to shoot, and really easy to conceal. I can hold it in the palm of my hand, and it barely sticks over. And I don't have very big hands.

Glocks are nice, but opted for a Springfield Armory XD-9 service model. I'll probably be trading it for a XD subcompact in the near future.

Currently, I carry a Sig 228. Kind of large for a compact, but it fits my frame.

Looks like an older Glock with less durable finish. Still, very nice. I assume you plan on carrying that. Please do it the legal way.

I also have an XD. I have the 4 inch in .40 cal. I like the Glock better because of the size, shootabiltiy, and genneral feel. Plus the reliability issue. I'm not knocking XD's, but that's my opinion.

My question to you is, why would you want to conceal it? It's not like you would want to keep it a secret from someone breaking into your house, and secrecy isn't an advantage on the shooting range. You might as well have gotten something huge that makes a bigger bang

                              Anyway, congrats, looks nice.
