  • I drive like a Corvette owner

Yep, that's right. This is my admission of guilt. I've turned into a right-lane driver. CD player pumping out some tunes, cruising along in the right lane with the cruise control on, poking along at 1900 rpm in overdrive, pinned at 5 MPH over the limit, getting passed by old women and garbage trucks. Wanna' rev at me? Go ahead. I can't hear you over the music, anyway, and even if I could, I wouldn't race you. I'm too scared of killing someone or getting another insurance-rate destroying speeding ticket.

The only time I open up car up at all now a days is on deserted roads or empty open highway late at night, and even that is rare.

Don't get old, kids. It sucks.

getting older sucks. its funny how when youre young you look forward to birthdays. like when youre 14-15 you cant wait to be 16. when youre 16 you cant wait to be 18. when you 18 you cant wait till 21. after that its like...blah. unless you count turning 26.(when our insurance finally takes a plunge.) me personally... i cant wait to be like 40. so i can have my midlife crisis and go out and by a beat up 4th gen fbody and try to act young again.

is it bad that im 23 and planning my mid life crisis already? lol

current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it

I'll be 30 next week. Just out of curiosity, how can you drive if you're 14?

As far as the loud music, I still like rock / metal, but as I get older my tastes are definitely mellowing. I never thought it would happen, but I guess it's inevitable.

Yeah, I dunno what's wrong with me. I find myself thinking ahead to when I get out of college and get a job. How to save money and amass a small fortune. I'm only 19. It weirds me out sometimes.

I dunno, maybe the lifestyle I'm living has something to do with it. Hopefully 19 isn't retirement age with how I live life :/

                  Infernal...you may like this.

I pretty much do the same thing sometimes, especially when cruising down PCH.

Music of choice is Pink Floyd (Hey You or Comfortably Numb "The Wall Live Version" especially). Sometime Eagles or Eric Clapton or Led Zepplin.

I'm 20 as well. I just think that it's soooo relaxing and soothing, and so UNRUSHFUL! I hate being rushed.

I cruise about 5-10mph over the speed limit thats it.. One its better gas miles, My car shakes over 70 from unbalanced tires, and there is no need to drive fast.. If a Corvette, f-body, or Mustang rolls up wanting to race, if its clear its on but if there is traffic forget about it..
