A good reliable used car for under $2000 that won't break down in the first year . Does that even exist????

I bought my 76 Bonniefor $250 & it never failed me (except when I let it run out of gas). Had it for a couple yrs before wife told me to sell it & buy a car where she could reach the pedels. Even drove it from MInot ND to KNoxville w/o a problem.

i bought my first truck from a dealership in san antonio... 92 s-10 and had like 70000 miles on it... pretty plain with just cloth seats and no electric stuff... 2.8 v6 and a 5 speed... but i got it for like 2100 out the door... the only thing wrong was that the clear coat was kinda peeling a little.... easy fix...good little truck when i got rid of it it was still runnin real strong and had like 165000 miles on it... prolly just keep ur eyes open

i believe your best bet would be ebay. just make sure you don't buy it on prime time. look for odd timing like late night, early morning, etc. i bought my camaro off ebay. funny story. this old guy listed this awesome camaro on chevy other model listing. so basically i won the car . no one was bidding on it since it's in wrong place (also late night).i bought it for really cheap. it's been more than year i didn't had to change anything except oil change.

I bought a '92 Ford Escort GT for $2200 summer before last.

Needed new tires, that was it.

Oh yeah, it had 50,000 miles on it. This thing was MINT.

Peppy little car too. 135HP in a 1900lb package.

I was driving to a concert one night and a old guy pulled out infront of me in a minivan. I hit him going nearly 65mph. Totaled both my car and his van. :( The guy was just lucky I wasn't driving the Camaro. I hit him square in the driver door. Had I been in a bigger car, I woulda killed him.

Well... That went a bit off topic...
