Great Game, lots of gory graphics, scary, it puts you in situatuons where you think to yourself "Oh Sh*t, Im F*cked."

Best if played in dark with surround sound all the way up. The game will make your heart jump alot.

You will see some of the best graphics and most disqusting things ever.

I just started playing the game and i entered this room, a guy was pinned up on the ceiling with spikes through his body, his chest and stomach were pinned open, you could see all his organs and he was making all these demonic screams and voices. Suddenly these creatures starts comming out fo the walls, floor, ground, screaming at you and leaping accross the room.

The graphics are by far the best iv ever seen for a first person shooter.

Beware, you must have atleast a 3.0 GHZ processor and a bad azz video card to get the full effects of the graphics. They are simply amazing!

Yeah, I bought it as soon as it came out. My brother bought it and we hooked up and played some DM and it just plan rulez. Graphics are killer. I remember the first Doom, man how games have changed.

Yeah, this game will really test out your video card, that'z for sure. This game has got me thinking about getting the new Geforce card, but $500 is a weee bit up there. ;)

Laterz,
Jeff

I beat it last night, it is indeed the awesome.

I'm playing on medium detail w/ an Athlon 1800, Ti4400, and 1 GB of RAM, and I've had a few slowdowns here and there, but for the most part, it's been good.

Not that you'd be able to play it, but:

1GHz CPU
256MB RAM
GF1 or Radeon 7xxx series card
</font>
Nope. I'm just paraphrasing the requirements but: 1.5GHz CPU, 2.5GB HDD space, 64MB Video card (Radeon 9XXX series or higher).

I'm playing it on a 1.4GHz P4 with a Radeon 9600SE. Not too bad, but it slows down a bit. Playing it on meduim detail at 640x480.

Fun game, still feels like Doom, and even I've jumped 3-4 times playing it for 3 hours last night. One situation had me yelling "Oh *explitive*!"

I'm not paying $200+ for a new video card. I bet it would make an awesome arcade game...but arcades have been going downhil so I doubt they will make one
