WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
I get to come home from deployment 12 days early! No ship in port to call me up and say "You need to come in we cant fix ( fill in the blank of some simplistic crap that the first thought in your head is "You have got to be kidding!" ) Time to spend with the boys and the wife. . ( And start on that "Honey Do" list that has compiled )
Time to fix that darn cooling "issue" I have been having.
Time to call up friends and see how they are doing since my last visit up to va and northeren va .
Time to start enjoying that High Speed internet I just had put in at the house.
Time to be thankful that I didnt take orders to that "other" ship that the Navy offered me in Little Creek that went over to Iraq and the guy who did take my job was killed in an attack on the ship. ( God's speed to him, God bless his family :( )
Once you hear news like that it makes the air a little cleaner, time more precious, family that much more important, and friends that much closer.
I am glad to be on my way home, I am glad that I am still here to be with my family and (ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!) my friends. And I hope all my brothers and sisters make it home to where we can all grow old and tell stories about it together.
