I had quite a close call with my car last night.
I was coming home from my friends house and i pulled into my road (which was never salted) so it was a sheet of ice. I made it half way up a hill when i started sliding. I figured id put it in reverse go back down to where the road was clear and gun it to get some momentum. I ended up sliding into a snow bank. I nearly had a heart attack because i thought i screwed up my body kit. Then of course that wasnt enough so while trying to get out i thought i blew something because there was a puddle of oil on the ground. (it turned out to be my powersteering somehow overflowed a bit) I couldnt see too well since it was 12 in the morning.
But everything looks to be ok and im going to start complaining to the town to start salting our road heavily.

Gunning it to gain momentum to get up an icy road probably wouldnt be the smartest thing to do anyway. At high speeds on ice the slightest jerk of the wheel could be the end of your car's life or even worse, yours.

Where im living its a really country road. . its pretty crappy. Especialy for any car whether front wheel drive or rear wheel drive. i was doing ok for a while just going really slow up the hill and i would make it up. . but i guess yesterday it was too icey.
when i meant fast i meant about 25-30 miles an hour lol ive been usually doing like 10 up the hill.
