• Friends stock motor Twin Turbo V6 Mustang goes 11.52 at 121

Stock bottom end, stock heads, stock cam. Stock trans with shiftkit and a stall converter. No nitrous either, just boost. All he did is add some injectors and some tuning which he did himself along with building this TT kit himself in his garage.

    went 11.524 @ 120.59 with a 1.794 60ft. last run he went 11.552 @ 121.63 1.841 60ft......all at 14psi on twin big 16g turbo's off the Evo.

I know a Novi intercooled '03 Monte Carlo did 11.6 with only 12psi of boost. Engine is stock too, but everything was modified.

Other than that, that's impressive. So how many engine has he blown?

The monte carlo belongs to Matt M from ZZP/Statama and has since run an 11.2. That L36 engine is stock except it has a VS cam. He says he never even had the heads off the engine.

And he did that awhile ago... too so he has been running boost on this motor for a bit.

I was also there the night he toasted the motor.

I saw one of his runs, he pussied or bogged the launch and it still ran a high 11.

Congrats on him....... but...... maybe it should mention maybe tire/ suspension mods? Weight removal/ relocation..

Cause.... when people see "add some injectors and some tuning which he did himself along with building this TT kit himself in his garage." it is VERY decieving.... when you are a newbie.

                            Kick @ss for him though

well its full interior with a roll bar.....he is runin ET Streets with his street wheels up front, no weight removal...even had the spare in the car He has a Ford 9inch rear end and also has some tubular front suspention stuff. Thats it.

We are going back to the track next Sunday with some weight reduction, race gas, 1-2psi of boost more, and mess with tire pressure to get his 60ft down to a 1.65 or so liek he had done before.....if erything works out it will be a 10 second pass on this stock motor. :D
