  • F-body motorsports rant part two

Some of you may have read my post a few weeks back about my terrible experience with F-body motorsports. I ordered replacement vents, they didn't give UPS my full address, gave me the wrong tracking number over the phone, etc. I finally got the vents: they were NOT for an '02 Camaro as I specified, they were the '93-'97(?) variety.

I sent them back over three weeks ago, they got the vents and I got my COD check a few days ago. I called them today, and the SAME GUY I talked to two weeks ago said he had not even ordered the right vents as I instructed him to do because he didn't have the "paperwork" for my order until today  I threatened to get a refund, but I don't want to do that because I've messed with it for so long and don't want to come out empty-handed. Anyway, I told him to order the vents and I've got a lot of time over Christmas break so I will continue to hassle them until I get my damn vents. This is a lot of trouble for some stupid damn vents that cost $30.

This is the most terrible business I have EVER encountered: the people that work there are stupid and incompetent. I hope anyone that is considering placing an order with them sees this post and thinks twice about it.

I'll update later, but I may still have more to "vent" about :D

Center air vents: the adjusters broke on my stock ones for some reason. Very irritating, rare problem.

The bottom line is that I just want my vents, and dealing with these guys is a matter of principle: I want to get my way with them because they've pissed me off so much.

I ordered a dash pad from them about a year ago with no problem. Did you order over the internet?

Oh, ok, I thought they were custom vents that perhaps you could have gotten somewhere else. Oh well.. I guess just stick it out and stay on them until you recieve the order.

Inform them that they just lost a valuable customer who would have done plenty more business with them if they hadn't have been so crappy.

[hijack]I've been having a problem with FTPP.net. Tomorrow, it will have been 3 weeks since I ordered my badly needed wires from there. If I don't get them tomorrow, I will be forced to buy another set of wires at the auto store until they arrive.

Yeah they are incompetent beyond belief. I just don't understand how people running a business can be so stupid.

I found it hard to believe too, seeing as how everyone recommends the site. So I blame it on the holiday, he was probably busy. I got the wires late friday and installed them. Finally I don't misfire and backfire.

I'm going to buy heat wrap for the spark plug boots near my headers from FTPP, and I expect it to come sooner than last time.

Do you not believe me or something? lol
