they work while driving, he basicly got it to scare his friends when showing up at parties and stuff....

he flipped the switch along with setting off the alarm for the video so it had a siren, but if you notice, the headlights "wig-wag" back and forth....

yes if on a public road, its considered "illegal use of emergency equipment" if just used like "hazards" but if you pull someone over with it, that would be impersonating a police officer, which means jail time....

i've got them on my Ram, pretty nice, i'm in the process of putting alternating strobes in the taillights too, use the whole system like hazard lights

I was planing the same thing for my ride,stobes in the back and stobes in the front markers.Works great for going to a fire scene in a hurry.
