carmax, and 2 dealers didn't notice....

and my car is nearly stock again, minus z28 sways, zr1s and a cutout.

Mine only went up about $700 here and it only cost me $350ish.

It was one reason I seriously considered converting to an auto, that should jump the value a little too on the books.

</font>[/QUOTE]T-Top they cant exactly verify whether it was done at the factory or not. Automatic or Manual, they can ;) If those numbers dont match, down goes the value.

These cars will never be worth in money what they are worth in sentimental value.

                    Carmax offered me $4,300

It needed a tranny and they didn't even notice. I used my scan tool to clear the tranny slip code before I let them test drive it. Fortunatley it takes two instances of tranny slippage to throw the code.

I spend 1,800 on rebuilding a solid performance enhanced tranny and dropped 800 in wheels and tires, and another 500 in audio equipment.

My car is probably worth less now than before I spent all the money.

                      They offered me like $6500....

I think the money is nicer then the sentimental value my car has right now.
