Actually, Christmas is a Roman holiday celebrating the birth of Mithra that was "appropriated" by the early Catholic church.

Right, Christmas isn't religious. Just the fact that Christmas has the word Christ, the figurehead of Christian religion in it. Whether or not Christmas falls on a sunday (in which case we do go to church), we take time and we celebrate Christ.

I sorta agree with BLLDOGG. I don't believe in Jesus, I celebrate Christmas as being with family and being happy. I still call it Christmas, though.

But I'm sure this is not what Mike intended when he posted. ;)

what i said was kinda just a stab at how retarded some are about keep religion out of everything public, or celebrate everything other than christmas and how a lot of people do not celebrate christmas for christ, but for their greed to have things.

navyblue2000, your bs is getting old and you need to get over things and grow up. i dont know if you knew it or not, some people like multiple opinions cause guess what, some people are wrong. Also, if you havent noticed, im only slightly educated in the automotive field these days.
