wrongo, this is a common mistake, its not entrapment unless the police officer brakes the law himself or forces you (such as at gunpoint, etc) to break a law.

its the same as acting as a drug dealer, he's not forceing you to buy drugs from him.

cops know what they are and arnt legaly alowed to do, and they know that if they entrap someone all of their hard work will be fornot b/c it will be thrown out in court.

heh, i've got no cop friends. its amazing how respecting them, knowing their just doing their job, knowing the law, and knowing your rights, will keep you from having bad encounters w/ them
