• New job! w00t

Well after a sh*tty start to the month it's finaly starting to turn (Knock on wood). First I get pulled over for 60 in a 45, but got let off so not too bad. Then the other day I'm backing out of my yard, and for some reason my bro's gf decides to park her dark green car at night, where nobody EVER parks because they know I park up there and am always comming and going, so anyways, backing out and bang. I get outa my car check my car, not a scratch so I'm relieved till I see her car. Pretty ****ed up, probably gonna be about 300-400 to fix. So I'm pissed about that. The next day (yesterday) I'm driving a friend home and get pulled over by some prick biker cop. He was really a d*ck. Got a ticket for 53/35, and failure to show proof of insurance. Later on me and my friends were driving and we saw the same cop at a gas station filling up his bike. I scream "Pig" out the window and his head snaps up and just starts staring at my car (Haha, couldn't get me ). Then last night was my friends 21st bday so we had a party at his place. I had a really good time, then I get a call this morning from an Airline Academy that I applied at a couple weeks ago and he offered me the job. So I get cheap flight lessons! I'm mucho excited to start flying, and getting my sh*t paid off.. I guess it's like they say, march comes in like a lion and out like a lamb (knock on wood). Ok, done rambling! Are you hoping to get into aviation as a profession? Will you be going through their program, or just getting lessons on the side?

Yeah, wanting to fly comercially. I was thinking about giving the Delta conn. Academy a try first because I already know the school.

DCA isn't much better. Pretty much the best way, IMHO, is to get a degree in a non-aviation subject and earn your flight ratings on the side. That way you'll have some options in case something happens with flying (medical, furloughs, etc). Plus it'll probably cost less. ;)

FWIW, check out www.flightinfo.com. They've got a great forum with alot of info on schools, training, and the like.

Have you flown any general aviation planes before? I'd be happy to give you a ride if you want some time. I'm always looking for an excuse to go flying. :D

Seminoles are awesome. I got my multi a few months ago in the PA-44. It was a blast.
