    UPDATE::: I've decided I want to up my horsepower to at LEAST 300hp. So here's what I came up with:

    - Pacesetter headers ....15-20hp
    - Borla exhaust..........15hp
    - Fuel injectors.........5hp
    - Spark plug wires.......5-10hp
    - 75 shot of nitrous.....75hp

    I want a supercharger eventually when I get about $4k.
    I already have an intake which added about 12hp and I also bought the spiralmax which ACTUALLY worked! It added at least 10hp!

    So I am now at about 222 hp.

    Then I want...

    *Throttle body
    *Limited Slip differential
    *Supercharger
    *3.23 gears
    *Shift kit
    *Jet chip or...
    *Hypertech power programmer
    *Torque converter
    *Aluminum Flywheel
    *Aluminum Driveshaft
    *Strut tower bar
    *Pan hard bar
    *Sway bar
    *Mass Air Flow Sensor

          I dunno if you could really call her "STUPID" shes probably just UN-informed..and is buying into all the GIMMICKS out there that claim serious gains in hp. Cant really blame her for that. We've all been there.

              It IS a nice car though. She just needs a dose of reality. Someone should direct her to this site so she can educate herself better.

                    I hate when people put numbers next to parts. Just shows how unknowledgeable they are.

                    CAI = 15 horsepower
                    Headers = 5-10 horsepower
                    Oversized Exhaust = 20 hp
                    Giant Wing = 10 hp
                    Yellow stickers = 5 hp
                    Bigger wheels = 10 hp
                    Mobile 1 oil = 10hp

                        sad...an uninformed camaro owner. most of those advertisements, like the ones that say "gain up to 15 HP with our CAI!" are misleading. that 15 HP gain was recorded on an already modded and tuned engine, where 15 hp makes barely a difference. i think i figured out the exact gains for certain parts, a CAI (or similar intake mods like our airlids) gets about a 3.7% HP gain and a 2.9% torque gain. nothing major, but the more power your engine makes, the more power you're gonna get from that particular mod.

                          Another thing I've noticed since puttin on the stripes, is the imports lay off at the green lights. They think I have an eight or somethin! Before the stripes they would take off at the light and want to go, but not any more.
