Just added a new laptop to my... well, apparently to my collection. I needed something faster and lighter for my on-site consulting work.

I'm now sitting here surrounded by AMD power (yes, all the systems, even the notebooks, are powered by AMD) thinking to myself... I've still got room on the desk for one more. :D

That's cool though, I stopped spending so much $$$$ on computers because I realized in 6 months whatever I buy will be super obsolete anyhow. At least cars and guitars keep well over time (with some TLC) :D

i hate WOW. i really do. i've lost two friends and a roomate to that effin game. really, like, theres video games and there are OBSESSIONS! i know i'm gonna tick some people off by saying that but seriously, if i spent more than 10 hours a week on video games, i would say that i have WAY too much free time and start picking up extra shifts at work so i could buy my girl something or work on the car or i dunno, STUDY FOR MY FINALS!!!! my roomie flunked one of his finals cuz he was too busy trying to beat some molten core with a lvl. 60 warlock that he wont shut the hell up about. i dont care what ur dressed it, you're at college and college isnt spent in ur dorm unless you're studying. sorry to hijack this thread, i just truely hate that game. i hate Counter-Strike too now that i think of it (as long as i'm complaining) that game took 2 perfectly good years from my life and flushed them down the toilet. god, i'll never get that obsessed again.

my manager's (at the restaurant i work at) brother came home from Iraq. He had 6 months of unemployment and the entire time he played WoW. When the 6 months of free money was up he moved in with someone he met on the game...........this game shouldn't even be allowed
