I hope this movie makes up for the previous two's lameness. Honestly, I hope that what "Empire" was to the original trilogy, this one is to the prequel trilogy. Dark, gritty and with no good news. After seeing some of the spoilers for this movie, I'm sure there will be quite a few shocked people out there when the end credits roll.

Lucas, you rat-bastard, don't let me down! :D

I like the other two movies...i think people just went into them with to high of hopes. I think number one was really good, and number two was fine, it wasn't bad it just wasn't as good as people were expecting. And honestly i think people are going to say this is horable just because this movie everyone has such high hopes for it.
I hope none of you people are the idiots that sit outside of the theaters for days or more.

The trailer for this new one is soooooo awsome...

Even if the rest of the movie is gay jungle sex, it will still be one of the coolest movies I have ever seen.

                  3.4 slow to go-

the first two movies were ***. Lucas should write it, but let someone with talent direct the damn things. Obi Wan really was the only character I started to feel attached to in either movie. Qui gon died, it was like oh well. Darth maul should have been given a bigger part, and not killed off, he would have been an awesome villan with some backstory behind him. When Anakin got his arm cut off, I had to keep from cheering in the theater.

The original series, when R2-D2 got shot, I felt pissed. I felt Darth vader should get his. When luke lost his arm, I felt threatened. The new movies are missing this kind of attachment.

All of that is missing in the prequels. Give me the special effects of the original series, same story, with a capable director behind the movies. I belive I would enjoy that alot more.

I hope beyond hope that Lucas doesnt screw this one up.

I can't wait, that trailer looks awesome. IMO the darker films (i.e. The Empire Strikes Back) have been the best of the series, and the lightest films like Episode 1 sucked nuts.
