  • scariest moment of my life.

i tought the girlfriend how to drive a 5-speed yesterday in my maro. she can take off from a stop ok now, but she doesn't like to use the accelerator. i thought we were going to get rear ended like 3 times on our way to the gas station which less than a quarter mile from our apartment. it took her all of the 1/4 mile to reach 30 miles per hour. i just thought id share this experience with all you guys. 2 summers ago I tried to teach my GF to drive stick in my little Ford Escort GT, when I still had it. She was doing pretty well. We were going along and had just left a stop sign.

My cell phone rang and I was talking to the person on it.

Mean while my GF is in second gear. When it comes time to hit third, she misses and hits first. Tires locked and we came skidding to a halt. LOL She decided she was done after that, and blamed me talking on the cell phone for her screwing up.

I totaled that car two months later :(

I tried to learn in ford bronco... i now know why ford named it that. for people like me who could literally make it buck.

Then i learned in my ex's 96 ws6 formula. That was fun, but at this point i don't prefer a manual, i'm lazy too much work for me. ;)

Yeah I tried to teach an ex-girlfriend how to drive my old Bronco II when I had it. She did okay, but she tried to turn around really sharp, on a parking lot at 45mph. We go up on 2 wheels, she freaks out, I have to lung for the wheel, luckily we came back down on all 4. She never learned to drive stick.
