    again...

well being disgusted that it broke, I have been putting off work on my car. But the motivation of losing my "alternative vehicle" tomorrow, got me thinking I need to get my car on the road.

its semi roadworthy, new tranny is in, car runs and drives fine, can't tell if it makes noise or not, I was running open manifolds, so lucky I could hear anything.

Still need to put a few minor things together, I might do the rear swap tonight since I am already dirty and put my stocker back on too...

but the car lives. And actually new tranny is WAAAAAY smoother then the old one, synchros were going out bad. And FYI the stock shifter sucks *** to an hurst billet plus and short stick.

not to bad whole endevour cost me a AAA tow a $320 for a tranny with 10k miles on it.

Still got some stuff I need to sell off need to get it all organized.

glad things are coming together. now when you get everything done and what not, and you relax, rethink if your going to stop racing.

and when I do that I will think of the thousands of dollars I have spent replacing drivetrain **** on v6 f-bodies. And say ohh yeah now I remember why...

Only way this car will be drag raced again is if it gets a ls1 and t56 in it, but that is pretty unlikely.

not ruling out f-bodies but swaying against them, I mean since I was 15, I have had one f-body or another, at times 2. I am 23, turning 24 in March. Just might try something different.

The unlikely thing I said above is it woudl be unlikely for me to put a ls1 and T56 into my v6.
