edited for clarity........I think i was at about 119 or 120 in my camaro on freeway, my buddy was pulling on me in his z28, my other buddy was pulling on both of us in his 5.0 and of course there was some cops trying to catch us but we didnt realize it, the 5.0 was about to pass me when the radiator blew, he called and said go to gas station. we got off the freeway drove a mile, went in and out of gas station walking back to our cars then about 15 cops pulled in and arested my buddy in the 5.0. The z28 and Me(v6) got away the cops never saw us cause the 5.0 started in the back somehow they saw him and not us, so we bailed out, he still doesnt have a liscense, i feel so bad, and yet so good, i thanked god, but hes still pissed that we didnt get caught. Then me and the guy in the z28 came back in my moms cts to see what was happening, we pulled up to the the pump and got a few bucks of gas just to see what was going down. on of the cops yelled at me and pointed at me (i wasnt shure what he said) i was so scared, i thought he recognized me but, he was asking if i needed to get out cause there were so many cop cars that no one could get in our out. he jumped in his car and i was like oh shiot but all he did was move his car. simply put we got the heck out of there. the end

by the way i know i sound stupid, i was lucky not to get caught or killed i regeret it because my best friend has paid a lot of money in fines and can not drive to work or anywhere else. it was a rush and ill never forget that. but now i race at the track where its legal safer and i know how fast my car is going. ive only gone to the track once but hope for many more friday night drags.

180+ mph in a S/C SS on HW 183. I say + because I don't remember how much higher if any it was then 180. All I know is we hit 180 and had to slow down shortly after due to a turn in the road about half a mile up.

107 in the Bird. I was scared as shiot. I was passing exit 33 on i77 heading south in NC. I passed the exit and thought whow this is where cops usually hang out at 1 at night, and I had my girlfriend in the car too. So we nexteled my buddy, who was following us in his v6 Camaro too. And said whooow we are getting off at 30 and chillin out for a while. So we went and saw a movie. When we stopped at the movie theater. Just one cop came up and was just chatting and said nice car son. I said thanks. He said remember to keep it under the speed limit. I said yes sir. End of story.

Oh 165 in a 2003 Mustang SVT Cobra (I KNOW I KNOW it's a Mustang but dang what a TRIP!).

bout 120 in the camaro

buried the speedometer past 120 in my Dodge Intrepid (before camaros), it had the 3.5 V6 SOHC motor, then I chickened out when I realized the speed limiter didn't kick in a little past 120...that car had SERIOUS electrical problems so I dunno why the speed limiter never kicked in.

Hit 110 before (limited) in my girlfriends Grand Prix GT.
