Funny story a friend told me from canada!

A buddy I talk to who spends alot of time at a drag strip was telling me a story...

A kid comes to his local track one day with a honda civic ex.

He runs a 18 second 1/4

The kid comes back a week later runs a mid 17

Kid comes back a week later runs a low 17

Comes back a week later runs a high 16


My buddy is thinking, "well atleast he is making some progress, doing something right."


Comes back a week later runs a low 16

Comes back a week later.... BOOM! Half way down the track.

My buddy comes up to the kid and asks him what happened?

This kid is crying, balling his eyes out saying

"My mom is gonna kill me!"

Turns out he was spraying his mom's civic, he would just add more every week.

He tried to spray a 200 shot! LMAO

HAHA oh that is funny I wonder what his mom said after she had it towed home. A 200 shot on a stock civic engine is definite suicide.

i mean, not for nothing, with a 200 shot, that thing should be in the 13's.....

my buick skylark with a 3.3L V6 went 15.0 on a 60 shot.....off nitrous it ran 16.5.

he probably didnt even have it set up right , otherwise it woulda went out earlier than the 200

Damn right!

15.0 with a slipping 1 to 2 shift and EXTREMELY traction limited. I had a hard time getting 15.0 w/ that set up.... better tires or no slipping trannny.... 14's EASILY!

As for the canadian kid...... well.... he is canadian..... BLAME CANADA!!!!!
