• Whats the worst loss?

Whats the worst loss you guys have suffered? In racing terms. What car has put car lenghts on you at half throttle? Just wondering. It doesnt have to be in your f-body either.

I'll start, I was driving my moms jeep liberty a few months back. I had a few friends in it. I pulled up to a light next to a newer ferrari 360 Modena. My friends were yelling at him to race, and sure enough, when the light turned, he was gone to 60 in about 5 seconds. He was out of my sight not long after that. It was pretty funny.

Was at the track. I lined up against a big single Supra. I took him outta the hole and stayed ahead up until and 40-50 mph then he passed me like I locked up the brakes and threw it in reverse.

I can honestly say I've never really lost a race. The only things I've raced are slow imports, a rusty 5.0 with a VERY bad driver (could hardly handle the manual trans.), and my friends' cars (3.4 Camaro, Mustang, Prelude lol). I don't really street race unless it's an opportunity I can't pass up and the conditions are perfect. I've yet to take her to the track too.

Two instances......

Once... I was cruising home from the track, et streets still on, bottle full psi, shocks set to drag set up etc....

Came across a C5 and began picking on him....

Well.... we came up to a toll... both ripped out of there, me spraying!!!

Well.... at that point... I heard his turbo's :(

Twin Turbo C5 vs me = BUS LENGTHS!!!!!!

He desimated me!!!

Another time at the track.....
Same thing... spraying... et streets...drag set up... did my burn out.. rolled up to the time against some older camaro. His car seemed relatively quiet.

I rolled up, smiled, and purged thinking I was going to kick his @ss... he rolled up to the line.....he purged too....then we raced.....

Well..... I got him off the line... he floored it and I could not hear my car AT ALL!!!!

He went 9's vs my weeney 12 second pass.

I GOT OWNED BIG TIME!!!!

you know, come to think of it, I had to race that guy twice. first time was a T&T run where we both left at the same time and I never had a chance. the second was in elimination where we raced handicapped (bracket) and I was at the 1/8 when he left and he still made it to the 1/4 first
