Should Arnold Schwarzenegger run for President

Should immigrants, like Arnold S., who have been here for 25 years and have been good citizens be able to run for office. Why or why not?

Hell NO, George Allen should run for President. Former Gov. of VA and now in the Senate. You will see him in 2008 or 2012

Arnold S. - No, because he has dual citizenship, he is also an Austrian citizen. BTW, some in the Austrian govenment want to strip him of his Austrian citizenship.

Yes, as long as they have maintained a position of Office in some form of Government for a certain amount of years.

Oh, and it will be interesting when Obama Barak gets the opprotunity to run. I like him, and think he's got a damn good head on his shoulders, and knows a $hit load.

That's a good point. Most immigrants do have duel citizenship. My mom and dad does but not me or my siblings. I choose America.

Jim DeMint should run for president, hes the current senator for SC. he voted to...

-ban openly gay teachers from schools
-ban pregnant, unwed teachers from school
-ban homosexuals adopting children
-eliminate federal taxes and replace it with a federal 23% sales tax (sucks for all 18 and under who wouldnt pay taxes anyway...)

Well, the republicans got 4 years to change the Constitution so he can run. But yes, if you are an immigrant, you should have only ONE citizenship, and have been here for a very very long time. Atleast 35 years, which is the required age to be president.

Nah, I don't think it's right to let someone come from another nation and run ours.

I'm not saying he couldn't do a good job, I just don't think it's right.
