  • Need opinions and advice on potential car

I have decided to get rid of my 96 Camaro because i have finally talked my parents into letting me get a v8. I had some trouble with my car early on so i was looking at gt's and cobras. But i just found out that this guy i know is joining the air force and ships out in 2 weeks. He has a 97 z28 that he is gonna sale and all he wants is payoff which is around $5500. I think i could get it for 5 even though. The car is a 6-speed and t-tops. It has complete msd ignition with dis-4, hooker long tubes, slp loudmouth, k&n cai, stage 3 clutch, 4.10 gears, and some kind of tuning. The car has 88,000 miles on it and when this guy bought it it had 76,000. He hasnt had any problems with it but i am sure that it has been drove pretty hard considering who has owned it. It looks good and runs strong but he said that sometimes it wont start up right away because of the msd ignition so it sometimes takes 2 times to crank it. I am seriously thinkin about getting this car. I just wanted to get others opinions on this cuz for $5,000 i think its a pretty good buy.

Well i am gonna get it if i can come up with the cash. I only have about 3 grand to spend right now, if i could just sell my maro now i would be set. I have had lots of calls but no buyers yet. I will let yall know how it turns out.
