The movie really was not what I was expecting. For whatever reason I expected more of a sci-fi type of movie as opposed to futuristic fantasy.

movie is the same, real question is did you get the unrated version. Its around 20 mins longer than the other one. I thought it was good but not what i expected, pitch black was so much better

The selection menu is different between them, bu that's it. Also, if you view the walk thru before watching, it will make a lot more sense. ANd yes, the unrated version is longer/has more stuff in it than my "unofficial" copy I have. I caint wait for the sequal.... [img]graemlins/rock.gif[/img]

Some guy goes off into space and then comes back "changed"... or rather comes back with super powers that the writer didn't feel like explaining. Anyway pulls an army out of his arse and then starts taking over a bunch of planets. In the meantime, a killer named Riddick escapes from yet another band of bounty hunters, goes to a another planet to see one of the Pitch Black alumni. That planet is invaded, and then some other crap happens and Riddick is on a prison planet and meets another PB alumni. Then they escape and he kills the Lord Marshal because it turns out Riddick is some Furion warrior guy instead of just a criminal with night vision eyes. Now he is the new leader of the Necromongers. The End.

Both movies HAD lots of potential, but both were a damn dissapointment. I expected more action and a better plot they made him out to be a bad mofo, but he's really not. I expected more. :(
Oh, and the ending to both were sh!tty and too quick.
