• speeding ticket mistake will i get off?

I got a ticket where the officer wrote 2004 instead of 2005... Does that help at all?

I would doubt it. I would assume that the tickets on his pad are numbered, so it would be quite easy for him to prove that the ticket wasnt a year old. but i'm not 100% sure on this.

          idk, mabey you'd get slap'd w/ "driving w/o a liscence" ?

edit - i'm assuming you did sign the ticket, which would infact prove that you were driving at the time and recieved said ticket, so the fact that you wernt even a liscenced driver then might actually help him prove that the date was a mistake.

actually i dont think that would work..because you can still drive without a license..it would actually show that the cop was lenient and shoulda ticketed and arrested you for AUO but just let you off with the speeding ticket..that actually happened to me..however..you could still use it i guess..i would stick to saying that you werent even on the road at that time..and add in the fact that you didnt even have a license as an extra kick in the balls

The ticket is admissable as evidence of the offence. It is important that it is accurate. If the cop made a mistake with the date - despite the fact that it may be an obvious mistake - the ticket will be inadmissable as evidence of the offence.

                      I would assume.
