another thing, watch the history channel from time to time, they have great shows. always makes you think at the end of the show. one show was about ufo sightings over military bases that were reported by military officers, and then the missle silo's inside the base were deactived which was impossible to do from the base.

You don't know that for a fact, if you did, this whole discussion would be pointless.

The whole theory of "us" in the big bang theory is a one in a (insert huge number here) chance of star dust and other elements combining together to form this sort of 'being'. I believe that is true, with that being said, what are the odds that it happened again? If there is another life form, its a plant.

(pronounced von noi-man) An early computer created by Hungarian mathematician John von Neumann (1903-1957). It included three components used by most computers today: a CPU; a slow-to-access storage area, like a hard drive ; and secondary fast-access memory (RAM ). The machines stored instructions as binary values (creating the stored program concept) and executed instructions sequentially - the processor fetched instructions one at a time and processed them. Today "von Neumann architecture" often refers to the sequential nature of computers based on this model.

I take it this is not what your talking about
            nope.

the one im talking about deals with self repication. the theory deals with aliens creating some sort of device or something else that goes out and colonizes/visits/studys planets and replicates itself. then it gets a bit crazier saying that some destructive civilization could have built these and sent them out to destroy other civilizations and so on. then there are other theories that we ourselves are the von neuman machines. its some weird stuff. trust me though, it sounds a lot better then the true wackos/theorists :D describe it. :D
