I personally think the Nomad is kind of neat, and maybe would have made a good Mini competitor (as it was envisioned). However, it cliniced very poorly and probably will never see production.

the cobalt SS is ok, how much HP does it put out again? like 190-200 i think not sure though. not bad for the cavaleir's replacement. can you say that you liked the cavaleir better? consider it a new gen of cav's. and the trucks are nice, i like the 2-door silverado's. nice small trucks and look cool. i dont like the f-150, it's too big for my taste.

it will for the next 3-4 years, like the phase that detroit went through with the futuristic, boxy things (Aztek, scion, etc.)

i dont really have an opinion on the nomad. its just a new car with a retro name so people might buy it more, i dont know. look at all the cars that are coming from the dead: GT40, nomad, camaro (hopefully! ), the nissan Z's, bronco... we'll see.

Scion is Toyota, has nothing to do with detriot.

And yes the Cobalt SS is rated at 205 HP

Daewoo, Subaru, Isuzu... GM owns a good % of them but thats it, they don't OWN them (yet) .... Though I dont know why they'd want 2 of the 3. Subaru is the only one they are making money off of right now. Tho Isuzu does make an OK small diesel motor.

actually if you redid the front end and the rear end and left everything else that would look cool!

i really like the way the windows look.

just i wanna slap that retarded smile look off the front bumper...

What about the Saturn Aura and Saturn Sky? How bout the Pontiac Solstice? G6? Colorado and Canyon? Everything is getting revamped. The entire GM portfolio. The full size trucks are getting the redesign in the next year or two if I remember right. How bout the new Vette? Malibu has been redesigned (though I'm not a fan), Monte Carlo got refreshed a little, Impala gets a little facelift. Saab and Caddy have already been mentioned. How bout the new Lacrosse? GM is seriously putting in some effort to make their vehicles better. You guys can call GM crap, but they're no more crappy than Ford or Dodge or Toyota for that matter. I've rode in, and drove a few new Toyotas and Fords in the past year, and I didn't see what all the big deal was about. Heck the Toyota's interior was trash compared to an F150. That's not saying much for the $25-$30K SUV (Highlander). Their car interiors aren't any better either. The steering wheels are hard as stone, the dash has the same textures as every other car, and the plastic felt like a cheap video game controller. I don't see anything that makes their interiors better other than gaps between pieces. But from what I've seen, the closer tollerances just lead to more rattles down the road. How bout Toyota's bland exteriors. There's nothing special in their lineup that makes me go "Oh wow, that's awesome". I'm not saying GM has a whole lot of "great" looking vehicles either, just stating that they're right up to par with Toyota and Honda.
Now build quality is something that I can't really say much about. From everything I've seen, Toyota's and Honda's last forever....provided the owner doesn't drive it hard. That's like every other manufacturer though. Heck, our 86 Caprice (with a 305) had 200K miles on it when we sold it. We changed the oil every 25,000 (yes 25 Thousand) miles. We saw the car 2 years later, still running fine. Well, enough ranting, have a nice day everybody.

EDIT: Oh yeah, the original thought in this thread. The Nomad is ugly.
