I saw a red one in the FWY today. At first I thought it was an 80's Jimmy or something but it looked really nice. With shinny red paint, chrome wheels and chrome tips.
It sounded really nice, like a fast car, but it's a small size SUV.
This is the 2nd time I've seen one. Just how rare are these things. Are they rarer than the Turbo TA.
a friend had one in high school, then decided to sell it. he ended up getting 12,000 for it and after the dude paid for it, he stayed in a hotel but told my friend to keep the car in his garage because he was worried about the hotel's security... but the guy had no problem walking around with 12,000 cash in his pocket?
mmm wanted one of those reallly bad. They only produced them for a short time, due to IMO the fact that they out-performed the corvette of the same generation.
Typhoons and Syclones can be made to go real fast..They are anywhere from 13's to 10's or even better at the track depending on what has been done to them. I've seen a Syclone go low 11's (that's the pick-up version). They are turbocharged 4.3 liter V6's. Alot of people boost them to 20psi or so. They are the perfect "sleeper" truck.
Both 4.3L Turbo and intercooled, both AWD. They can be made to go fast, yes, but to get out of the low 12's with them, you HAVE to do internal work on them. The bottom ends on those cars (crank, rods) are crappy, and weak for the boosted engine.
But either way, very nice trucks. And also VERY high resale value. Decent ones go for 10K, and good ones go for like 15K. Would i pay that for a 92 GMC? No, but still, they ARE nice.

You mean '89 right.
A guy here was selling his for 9 grand. But it alreay has 120k miles on it. With oil leaks, rebuild tran and worn out, torn leathers. But I told him if he could sell it for 7 grand. Didn't get it. This was 4 years ago.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
