james, the bottom ends are seriously notoriously weak. for a sy-ty to be very fast, i mean 11s or faster, you NEED internal work, including a new crank and rods.
sure, theres a typhoon in the 9's........without the AWD system, and with sick work done to it.
ill put it this way:
1) they are sick cars
2) they are really rare
3) they sell for a whole lot of money still
but, for an all out sickass race car, they are not what you want. lookin for a sick turbo race car? GN is the way to go...
I was up against one at a car show i did in june. it was just me and him in special interest class. we were parked right next to each other. it was a pretty nice car. i didnt know what it was at first either. i got to talk to the guy most of the day. i learned more than i thought i'd ever know about the thing.
