  • Snowboarding Trip!! NEED RESORTS!!!

Okay guys, need your assistance. This is primarily for the western states of WA, OR, CA, NV, AR, UT, MT, and CO.........

What are you favorite ski/snowboarding resorts?!?!

Me and my friends are going to be taking a huge road trip and we want to go through all those states. Actually, I don't need California resorts, cuz we already decided on Mammoth and Tahoe.

And yes, if we get a chance to, we'll head to Whistler, Canada.....so no need to mention that one.

You can do it the true redneck way like my friends and I did:

Haul air mattresses up to the top; use a portable inflator and...
Yeehaw - yer cruisin' down the mountain out of control!
It did not really impress the ladies, but we had a great time.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

I'm going to Tremblant in Quebec over xmas break. It's been voted like the best resort in the eastern half of North America for like the past 10 years or something in numerous magazines. Kinda a really long road trip for you, but you'd hit a lot of states in the process. I can't wait.

Also, Jackson Hole, Wyoming is a supposed Snowboard Mecca. The snowboard club at my school is taking a trip there this winter, but it was more than I could afford.

But yeah, I can't wait to go to Tremblant- 5 days of nothing but boarding in the day, and I can legally drink in Canada all night long!!

If you would go up to Idaho try Sun Valley. Thats the only place I go. I love it. a lot of people compare it to park city but for people looking for a great slope and not the family aspect. And Arnold S. owns a place up there and Bruce Willis owns 1/2 the town. its a great place to visit.

Copper Mountain is a pretty good place to go here in Colorado. They have a snowboarding park with rails and various things like that. I've just started snowbaording so I haven't been to too many places. Aspen is nice but pretty expensive, so is steamboat springs.
