I just got a 1996 Camaro and haven't even been driving it for 3 weeks when some f*ckers broke into it to steal my cheapa$$ stereo. I don't care about the stereo as much but there is so much damage that the insurance company is going to total it. The b@st@rds:
-punched in BOTH door locks ruining the plastic doors while at the same time disabling BOTH door assemblies so you can't open the doors from inside or outside :mad:
-smashed the passenger side t-top
-ripped the dash apart :mad:
-destroyed the floor console :mad:
-ripped the wipers off of the car :mad:
And since they did this on a night that snowed, the interior was full of snow and blood. Since they disabled the doors, they could only gain access through the broken t-top and cut themselves on broken glass. :D Worst part is that I know who it is but I can legally prove it. I confronted him the same morning and he was all cut up. The police only took a report and wouldn't come out to look at the car. :mad: :mad:

WTF????..dude..that would be my worst nightmare!..breaking in and stealing sh*t is one thing..but...DAMNNNN...so what are you going to do with it??..if the insurance company totals it..are you gonna get a different car or fix this one?..either way you should BEAT..HIS..@SS..no way would i let something like that slide..i cant believe that..put a viper system on your next car (except the good guys know to just clip the siren wire ;) )..so far thats like..the worst i've heard happen to a Camaro..you just dont f*ck with another man's automobile!!


BTW ..im guessing this car isnt making it to A.S.S? ..you should still bring the 3.4!

damn man that's messed up, seems like with the blood you could easily prove who it was if the cops came out there. This person sounds like either a crackhead or he did it for personal reasons.
Sounds to me like somebody needs to be made to disappear.

eh..cops wont bother with DNA for car vandalism/stereo theft..plus you'd need some sort of proof in order to have that guy ordered to submit (even though he knows who it is) ..would be cool to see that f*cker locked up though!!

I am taking care of him, so to speak. [img]graemlins/twak.gif[/img] And I do plan on keeping the car. I will just have the doors shaved and I already have half of the parts to fix it. It puts a detour in my plans but it will be fixed.

That's horrible man, I swear. I say get the DNA test anyway. Call a cop that would come down and take a look at and file a proper report. If they won't, talk to the chief.

I live in a very bad neighborhood myself. I get nervous about my cars all the time too.

yeah..just tell them you're gonna keep going up the ladder until you're satisfied..cant you just pay to have that done anyway?..you could try to get some of his DNA other than whats in the car..if he smokes or anything pick up a butt with some tweezers..or a beer can or whatever..personally i like the lead pipe idea better..but whatever works lol..the area i live in sucks..thatsn why i have the viper system with the little stickers in the window..why did he go through the ttop anyway??..are the side windows shatter proof and the ttop glass isnt??..even if he was smart enough to know that the factory alarm system goes off if you pop the locks..it seems like it would still be easier to enter through the side..well he doesnt seem to bright..so he'll get his!..if you were local i'd come along for the fun of it haha :D

Most times your only talking to a dispatcher who has no legal right to decide if your call is worthy or not. I had a similar thing. caught a guy on my stolen $500 bike. Chased him home. Called the police and the guy said, well maybe n an hr or so Ill send someone around.

When the real cops did finally show up they were shock it had been so long. I told the guy I had chased him home, knew where he was but was probably gone by now. Dispatcher got reamed. They have no power to decided like that. Especially when you have the person caught red handed, per say.

yeah go **** up his car, if the police didnt do **** about what happened to your car, they arent gonna do **** to what happens to his car. make sure its not 'totalled' though, so that he can't get the blue book back on his car.

well it depepends, what kind of car does he have? it would be fun totalling it anyway
