I just got a 1996 Camaro and haven't even been driving it for 3 weeks when some f*ckers broke into it to steal my cheapa$$ stereo. I don't care about the stereo as much but there is so much damage that the insurance company is going to total it. The b@st@rds:
-punched in BOTH door locks ruining the plastic doors while at the same time disabling BOTH door assemblies so you can't open the doors from inside or outside
-smashed the passenger side t-top
-ripped the dash apart
-destroyed the floor console
-ripped the wipers off of the car
And since they did this on a night that snowed, the interior was full of snow and blood. Since they disabled the doors, they could only gain access through the broken t-top and cut themselves on broken glass. :D Worst part is that I know who it is but I can legally prove it. I confronted him the same morning and he was all cut up. The police only took a report and wouldn't come out to look at the car.
