English question LOL

I was in my office today and my team leader gave me a peice of paper. It read

“Are my actions and activities having a direct impact on short-term and long-term sales or cost reduction initiatives?”

Our company is of great quality and we always share cool mottos and sayings but this one seemed gramatically incorrect somehow, than I made up this incredibly confusing question that someone should put on the Sat9 test hahaahahah all those damn ANDs and ORs lol

heres the question, and it is in reference to the above quote

Question: Should the Bolded words be:

A.) and and and, B.)and and or, or C.) and and or, or D.) None of the above


lol....ok maybe its not that funny but I get very creative when things slow down in the Information Systems world.... do you guys get it? the question makes perfect sense if you are smart enough.

i suspect that you might need the extra hyphen: short- and long-term sales.

the original sentence is fine. since you need to make a choice from the list and have both and's and or's the or would take precedence (and you can rely on the reader to group similar items like long-term and short-term). however, a comma near the or would be helpful to the reader.
