Is it me or is the 3rd and early 4th gen. Trans Am/Firebird becoming rare

at my school, there are 2 firebirds (mine and a hot girl that drives a 95), and 5 camaros--all 3rd or early 4th gen.

i agree about the mustang becoming the new family car too... my best friend's mom just traded in her minivan for one. another friend's mom drives one as their family car.

around here, there are about
6,756,843,587 mustangs
193,354 camaros
10 firebirds

Is it true that GM/Pontiac quit makin' Firebirds/Camaros cuz there's no market for 'em?? Seems that I see alot more rice grinders out there than anything else. Maybe cuz they're cheaper than our cars? And what is it about Mustangs that make them so popular?? There's only one Firebird in the parking lot @ home, and @ work, mine!! I actually feel like i'm drivin' an exotic car around here sometimes. However, I'm in Milwaukee, so I do see a number of them around town; and can't help but think the same thing every time I see one.. NICE RIDE!!! [img]graemlins/rock.gif[/img]
