• Anyone a broker?

So for all you brokers out there. I'm interested in becoming a broker and I want to know some of the steps. I know that you need a series 7 license and a brokrage endorsement just to take the test( I'm not sure about this one). I'm transfering schools to study Economics at a better school. It seems like the best major for a good foundation. Tell me how you become a broker. I'm really interested.

I went to an interview and that dickhead Ben Afleck yelled at me, then I closed down my casino, opened 40 accounts, and now I'm a millionaire.

Im series 7 licensed. What you need to do is get a job at a Brokerage firm and they will sponsor your tests so you wont have to pay anything. In college I majored in Marketing. Most firms dont care what degree you get, however finance, economics and marketing are probably the top 3 that will help you in the industry.

Depending on your state and firm you work for, you will be required to have i'd say anywhere from 2-4 addl licenses. The series 7 though is the biggie.

Anymore questions just let me know.
What\'s her last name? I\'ll look it up.
You know I don\'t recall. Swim, Swammy, Slippy, Slappy, Simmons, Sommons, Swenson, Swanson?
Maybe it\'s on the briefcase.
Oh yeah! It\'s right here, Samsonite! I was way off! I knew it started with an S though!

What kind of a job would I do at a brokerage firm if I don't have any licenses? I'm pretty set on becomming a broker now. At first as I was leaning towards a CFP, but I'm very interested in stocks more. I've traded for about 9 months now and I love it.

If you are just starting out, you could always intern somewhere. Then all you would be doing is setting appointments for other brokers by calling coule hundred people a day.

If you got a regular unlicensed full time job at a brokerage firm you could be a sales assistant (basically a brokers secretary), or a receptionsit etc.
