• When did Denny's get pricey?

WTF? I haven't been to Dennys in months, if I eat late night usually hit up Toxic hell or a locla diner.

Either way me and the girl wanted some breakfast, after her first class. Head out to the fine eatery, Denny's just down the street. Sit down, open the menu to see omlettes are like $7.50, a little shocked look over the menu everything was $6.50 or hire, check out lunch section, a Denny's Cheeseburger is $7.69!!!!

Its not that I cannot afford it or anything but this is dennys, I could have gone to Hooters and gotten a burger for cheaper, same with all the normal TGIFriday style restaraunts. Its like $6.50 a burger. And believe me ever have a Denny's burger, better off with something from McD's

Dennys used to be like $4-5 a meal, whats with the increase in prices? The festive atmosphere? Gourmet Cuisine? Quality service? I mean come on, your not supposed to go to Dennys order 2 waters, 2 meals and walk out with a $15 check. On average I spend ~$23 at fridays, if I get a beer, appetizer, and 2 meals. with my girlfriend.

I know what you mean. Every time I eat Denny's, my stomach would start hurting real bad shortly after. The only reason I used to go there was because of the prices. Now that that's out the window, I bet they're going to start going down hill

I've been noticing that too for a couple of months now. Carrow's, Denny's rival, is the same way too.

Everything is going up, except my salary.

I agree with you, Eric. Their old signature item, the "Grand Slam," used to be their big advertisement for $2.99. Last week, it was $3.49 - and you had to really look hard - it was buried in tiny type at the bottom of a page.

They are trying to push lots of stuff in the $7-8 range.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

Denny's has always sucked, at least in the Midwest.

Wendy's is higher class than Denny's.

Yea, I noticed that too. I might have to start going back to IHOP for my cheap 3am meals.

IHOP is the worst of all the price hike.

This was on Sunday and my wife and I ordered these same items that we've always ordered before:

2 hot chocolate-no refills
Denver Omlette along with Harvest nuts pancake

Club sandwich along with banana meg pancake.

That's all we ordered. It wasn't much.

Price: $26

Used to be $18.

Good bye IHOP
