Last night I was watching the show on discovery channel and there were doin the car myths.Here are some of them.

They put sugar in a cars gas tank and ran the gas dry and the car never stalled.

They put bleach in the cars gas and ran and the car stalled after like 1 min.

They put moth balls in a cars gas tank and it seemed to help the car. They said it might have raised the fuels octane level but the car seem to run better. They said they wouldnt recommend it though.

They emptied the radiator and put cola in it to see if it would still run and it did.

They punctered the radiator with a screw driver and put fluid in it and it was leaking. They then put a single egg in it and the leak stopped after 30 seconds.

They put bleach in the oil and the motor seized up almost instantaniously.

There were more but the moth balls and the egg amazed me.

Yeah I saw that one..On the really old Caddy.I was surprised about the sugar and egg.

sugar does not dissolve in gas. It could only clog your fuel filter and it can't damage t he engine unless it get passed the filters. Its the old myth that makes service station lots of bucks as they will say, your engine needs rebuilt, every time. Its ruined, you can't just empty the tank out.

if you cant get to the oil, but can get to the gas or exhaus

anyone who does anything to anyone elses car is a ****ing ***** and should have it done back to their car.

but from the original post i'd say bleach in the gas tank isnt very good for the car.

well assuming the car isnt yours and it will be locked the only EASY way to cause damadge to the engine is by adding somthing to the gas. i have to say my favorite is the ol' pee in the air intake for the heater that is inbetween the window and the hood. ive never done it myself but i know ppl that have, and its said that every time they turn on the heater it smells like piss. *OH, and i dont advocate any of this...

Actually, I've heard that cop cars actually have ammored doors. Not 100% sure if it's true or not.

I always thought diesel fuel in an unleaded car would be the best.

Just a couple quarts of cheap oil or even if you just want to prank someone use 2 stroke oil.

for that nice, blue "you have no rings" look.
