ok i'm 18 and i think i'm getting hustled by the dealers ok...When i first saw the car it was marked at 2890 so i decided to give 1,500 down.. So i got ou the car..stupid me didnt really do the numbers since i was so excited for the car well anyways i just recently i found a 98 trans am for sale by a private owner for about 7,000 but told me hat if i can get him 6,000 hell give it to me. and the car has about 60,000 miles on it and hit's low 13's on the track. So anyways i take out the papers to see how much i'm gonna have to give him so i can get out of the payment but..he toldme that i owe him 2,000 dollars to get out of the payment and i'm going insane cause that just seems to much... sO i look at the papers and the base price was at 3890, no longer was it at 2890 like it was at the dealership painted on the winshield...apperantly whaat they told me was that , that was the price only if you had the cash..huh funny how they didn't mention it to me. and the interest is at 17.44 percent for 25 months, now i gave 1,500 and have been paying bi-weekly in contract it's stuppose be 117.44 but i give 120 a biweek so which means is 240 a month and i'vee been giving it since july and on august i gave three payments of 120 and this month another 240 NOw I WAS wondering how can i get out of the payment without payin the interest and if i'm getting screwed big time and whati can do aobut it.
    it\'s a 3.4

I'm assuming you've signed the contract already. This is why you should always read what you sign.

If you've signed it, there's little you can do I'm guessing. There might be some clause if you take it to court saying that you didn't know the price was raised, but I'm not a lawyer so I'm not sure.

        ^ Live and learn.

And if you can afford it, talk to a lawyer.

just read the contract real carefully, cuz that's all that matters. if u think something's up, then get some legal advice.

Call the finance company and ask for a pay off quote, that will tell you what you owe to pay off the contract early.

Your inexperience buying cars screwed you, the dealer just took advantage of this.

$2000.00 is probably close when you factor in tax and license on the original sale, less your down payment and the principle portion of the payments you have made.
