• America vs. Japan: Which 6 cyclinder is the fastest

We know that Japan's fastest 6 cyclinder is the Supra.

America's fastest 6 cyclinder is the Grand National.

Pit these two together: whose the fastest?

The highest HP rating a Turbo Supra has ever gotten was 1600rwhp. Or I could be wrong.

The highest HP rating a GN has ever gotten was 1500rwhp. Or I could be wrong again.

The fastest Turbo Supra is at 7 sec.

The fastest GN is at 6 sec.

OR, I could be wrong. But nonetheless, to me, putting these two together would definately be the race of the century.

    What about stock for stock?

American Engineering vs. Japanese Engineering without the added engineering.

Your trying to compare an Inline 6 to a V6, and then different years of cars etc... It's not going to work at all. Plus, "the fastest", you have to consider traction and actually getting down the 1/4 track not just a dyno.

True, but it's always these two 6 cyclinder cars you always hear about that's up there with the V8's(force inducted). In some cases doing better than a lot of V8's.

I know there's also the Skyliner, Typhoon, Syclone, 300zx, TTA, and many other 6 cyclinder cars.

But it's the Supra that's Japan's best and the GN America's best 6 cyclinder cars.

haha supra sucks ***... but a T-type woudl be much worse in an autocross, woudl be better off in a cyclone then a GN in an autocross.

I think its 287 hp, but it only can't be rated higher than that. A lot of people say the engines produce more, but its just rated at that for a gentlemen's law.

Stock. Otherwise you are just proving one build and tuning company is better than another.
